Overwatering can be as problematic as under-watering. The AquaSense by Aquatek from Irvine, California provides soil moisture level monitoring to assist with water conservation.
Our owner has a background in engineering with a doctorate in electrical engineering. His son inspired the creation of the AquaSense system after he inquired as to why sprinklers were running on a golf course during a rain storm. Recognizing this as an issue, our owner started designing this sensor and control unit in his garage in an effort to prevent overwatering.

Our AquaSense system monitors moisture levels and relays this information to the sprinkler system so it knows whether or not to turn on. The unit pays for itself because it lowers water bills, saves water, and prevents excessive moisture, which is good for the environment.
There are many applications for which you can use the AquaSense system. We have had customers use the unit for water bowls for livestock, on golf courses, and in parks, schools, and larger yards.
